Team Troon On Tour: Thomas & Fitzpatrick Advance to the Tour Championship
PGA TOUR – BMW Championship
The second event of the FedEx Cup playoffs concluded this past weekend with the top 70 eligible players competing in the BMW Championship at Wilmington (Delaware) Country Club. There were four Team Troon members in the field including: Justin Thomas, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Alex Noren, and Matt Kuchar. Low Team Troon member was Matt Kuchar who shot a four round total of -2 to finish T35, followed by Matt Fitzpatrick who finished T48 at even par. Both Alex Noren and Justin Thomas would finish T53 at +1. Complete Team Troon / BMW results are as follows:
- T35 Matt Kuchar: 69-71-70-72 = 282 / -2
- T48 Matt Fitzpatrick: 69 -73-71-71 = 284 / E
- T52 Alex Noren: 72-69-72-72 = 285 / +1
- T52 Justin Thomas: 66-73-75-71 = 285 / +1
PGA Champions Tour – Dicks Sporting Goods Open
The PGA Champions Tour was in Edicott, New York for the Dicks Sporting Goods Open. Colin Montgomerie and his all Troon bag was in the field En-Joie GC and would move up the leaderboard in brilliant fashion after posting a six under final round 66 to finish at seven under for the event. That final round would help him earn another top 25 finish on the PGA Champions Tour. Solid playing Colin!

Coming Up
Fed Ex Cup – Tour Championship
The Top 30 players in the points ranking following the BMW Championship qualified for the season-ending Tour Championship at Atlanta’s East Lake Golf Club. Going into the BMW Championship, Justin Thomas and Matt Fitzpatrick had solid positions to continue their playoff run at #10 and #12, respectively. Following the BMW, the two would ultimately, earn their position in the Tour Championship with a starting position of three under (the Fed Ex Cup point leader in Scottie Scheffler will start at 10 under).

LPGA Tour – CP Women’s Open
Following a short break, the LPGA Tour kicks back into action with the CP Women’s Open at Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club in Ottawa, Canada. Team Troon member Yealimi Noh is in the field ready to go low and capture her share of Race to CME Globe points. Go low this week Yealimi!

Congrats to Team Troon member Cheyenne Woods for being selected for the Wake Forest University Hall of Fame! Woods graduated from Wake Forest in 2012 with a degree in communications. During her days competing for the Demon Deacons, she set the school record at the time for career-low scoring average, was a two-time All-American, and was All-ACC three of her four years.
