COMING UP
PGA TOUR – Honda Classic
The PGA Tour goes from the West Coast Swing to the Florida Swing, with the Honda Classic teeing off at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens this week. We have one Team Troon player in the field in Matt Kuchar.
Fun fact: Alex Noren and his family have started to play/practice and enjoy all of the great golf and club amenities at BallenIsles Country Club which is just 2.5 miles from this week’s PGA TOUR stop.
Another BallenIsles/Honda Classic Fun Fact: Ben Silverman, who plays and practices at BallenIsles Country Club received a sponsor exemption to play in this week’s Honda Classic. Earlier this year, the 35-year old professional won the Korn Ferry Tour’s The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic in January and the following week won the PGA TOUR’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM with amateur partner Aaron Rodgers. The membership of BallenIsles will have a lot to root for this week at the “Honda”!
Go Alex! Go Ben!

PGA Champions Tour – Chubb Classic
Congrats again to the entire Tiburon Team on yet another successful event. This one being the Chubb Classic where Bernhard Langer captured his record-tying 45th PGA TOUR Champions Title. We feel like the Tiburon Team broke records as well as this event marked the third leg of three professional golf events over a four-month stretch where Tiburón hosted the LPGA Tour, PGA TOUR-sanctioned tournament and PGA TOUR Champions respectively. To our knowledge, no other host venue has accomplished that feat. CONGRATS TEAM TIBURON!
Spotted at Tijeras Creek – Team Troon Member Yealimi Noh
In preparation for the start of the LPGA Tour schedule on the mainland, US, Yealimi Noh is in Southern California getting in practice and prep. This past Monday she practice/played at Tijeras Creek Golf Club and shared a nice “thank you” to the course and Troon to her 55K+ followers on Instagram. Thank you Yealimi for sharing your day with Tijeras Creek and Troon!

As shared in last week’s Team Troon on Tour, Netflix unveiled the first season of the much anticipated golf series in Full Swing. From the same producers of F1 Drive To Survive, this is an immersive documentary series shot as high as #2 trending on Netflix this weekend. For those that haven’t already binged watched it yet, Team Troon member Justin Thomas and his dad/family are the center of Episode 1 (including his epic come from behind victory at the PGA Championship). Matt Fitzpatrick and his historic U.S. Open victory was the focus of Episode 5. Then season one ends with Troon investor/supporter in Rory McIlroy. The Troon sales and marketing team counted 8 prominent Troon logo drops in episode one alone! If you haven’t watched it yet….be sure to tune in!
Have a great week. Go Team Troon!
