Team Troon On Tour: Fitzpatrick with a T42 at BMW, Noh with a T14 at Kroger plus it is Silverado Week

While this weekend marked the official kickoff of American NFL Football, golf action continued with the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club in Surrey, England. Low Team Troon member was Matt Fitzpatrick. Matt got off to a great start with opening rounds of 69-67 and ultimately would finish with a tournament total of -8 to earn a T42 finish.

LPGA Tour

The LPGA Tour would make a stop in Cincinnati Ohio for the Kroger Queen City Championship, Presented by P&G. Yealimi Noh would continue her strong play with a T14 finish after posting a final round 67 to shoot a four round total of -9. Congrats Yealimi on a great week!

PGA Champions Tour

Colin Montgomerie and his all Troon bag was in the field for the Ascension Charity Classic in St. Louis, Missouri. Colin would finish T51 at even par for the event.

Its “Silverado Week” on the PGA TOUR!
The PGA TOUR kicks off the first event of the final wrap around season at the Troon-managed, Silverado Resort and Spa with the Fortinet Championship. This marks the seventh playing of the Fortinet Championship on the North Course at Silverado (which will play to par 72, 7,123 yards). Defending champion (and recent President Cup captain’s pick) Max Homa is in the field as are three Team Troon members: Alex Noren, Gary Woodland and Matt Kuchar.

PGA Champions Tour – Sanford International

The PGA Champions Tour heads to Sioux Falls, South Dakota for the Sanford International at Minnehaha Country Club. Team Troon member Colin Montgomerie and his all Troon bag will be in the field.

Fun Fact: Troon is the management company tasked with management of Great Shots and Blue Rock Bar and Grill that is located on the Sanford Pentagon Campus. Best luck to our clients in Sanford, on what will be a great event in Sioux Falls…and go Colin!

 LPGA Tour

The LPGA Tour makes its way from one of the newest events on Tour to one of the longest standing on tour in the AmazingCre Portland Classic at  Columbia Edgewater Country Club, Portland Oregon. Yealimi Noh will be in the field competing for top honors. The course fits Yealimi’s game well as she recorded a T3 finish in the event in 2020. Go low this week Yealimi!
