SCOTT RESCIGNO WINS 2020 GOBBLER AMATEUR
Tucson, Arizona—Scott Rescigno (Reno, NV) shot a final round 63 (-8) to come from six shots behind to win the 2020 Gobbler Amateur at Sewailo. Rescigno, a New Mexico State golfer, birdied his first five holes to open the day. He certainly kept it going and it led to a 2-shot victory of Eric Hagen (Olympia, WA), Harry Hillier (New Zealand), Adam House (Rockwall, TX), and Sam Sommerhauser (Rocklin, CA), who all finished at 4-under par, two shots behind Rescigno’s blistering pace.

This was the fifth Gobbler Amateur and the first tournament (7th overall in the 2020-21 TSAS season) in the final stretch for the Troon Saguaro Amateur Series Championship, which culminates in early January at the Saguaro Amateur.
