TROON GOLF TO MANAGE OUED FES

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon Golf,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce its appointment at Oued Fes in northern Morocco. The all new resort, residential and leisure development has chosen to utilize Troon Golf’s expertise to not only enhance the Fes region’s leisure attractions, but to assist in the progression of making Morocco a major golf destination.

Located in the tourism hub of Fes and just seven miles from the city’s international airport, the resort is ideally situated to attract golfers from markets in mainland Europe. The multipurpose resort will consist of residential, shopping and leisure amenities, with plans for five-star hotels. The championship-style golf course has been designed by the highly respected architect Jonathan Gaunt, who has been responsible for some of the finest projects in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

The project is being developed by MEDZ, a subsidiary of the holding company CDG Development as part of its overriding mission to implement government policies aimed at the economic and social development of the country.
