TROON GOLF EXPANDS PRIVATE CLUB PORTFOLIO WITH AGREEMENT TO MANAGE ONEIDA GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB
Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon Golf, ® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce that it has been selected to manage Oneida Golf and Country Club, one of Wisconsin’s finest private clubs. Setting the standard of fine living and exceptional golf in the city of Green Bay since 1928, Oneida is ranked as WISCONSIN’S 7th BEST GOLF COURSE by Golf Digest.
Oneida’s 18-hole, par 72 layout has been known to challenge the most skilled players and is often noted as one of the state’s toughest courses. Six years after the course opened, par had only been broken twice and it took all of 20 years for Sam Sneed’s course record of 66 to be challenged. The tree-lined course stretches to 6,700 yards from the longest tees and is surrounded by rolling hills and meandering streams, presenting players with memorable shots at every hole.

Oneida underwent a significant renovation project in 2003, which included reconstructing numerous bunkers and tees, lengthening several holes and rerouting the 18th fairway. In addition to the championship golf course, Oneida also offers members formal and informal dining areas, meeting rooms, locker and dressing room facilities, golf shop, full-sized swimming pool and cabana, and lighted tennis courts.
