TROON GOLF ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS THROUGHOUT ORGANIZATION
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – In response to the continued growth of Troon Golf, the world leader in high-end golf management, key personnel have received recent promotions throughout the organization in recognition of their talent and leadership capabilities.
“The growth Troon Golf is enjoying continues to provide increased opportunities for career advancement by our associates,” said Troon Golf Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dana Garmany. “Our company is better prepared for the future with these individuals assuming greater leadership roles.”
Formerly Assistant Vice President, Ryan Walls is now Vice President, Operations Support. In his new capacity, Walls will supervise a number of Troon Golf facilities that include recent acquisitions through Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. He will also oversee important operations initiatives, such as standards development and compliance, quality assurance and the property transition process.
Steve Shields, General Manager at Branson Creek Golf Club, Branson, Missouri, now assumes greater responsibility in his newly appointed position as Area Managing Director. Shields will remain at Branson Creek with his additional duties to include the supervision of LochenHeath Golf Club, Traverse City, Michigan; Centennial Golf Club, Minneapolis, Minnesota; The Creeks at Beechwood, Ft. Worth, Texas; and Black Creek Club, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Chris Dalhamer, Superintendent at Carmel Valley Ranch, Carmel, California, and Brad Hines, Superintendent at The Westin La Cantera Resort, San Antonio, Texas, were both promoted to Senior Agronomists and will oversee agronomy maintenance operations for the growing number of Troon Golf facilities in their respective geographic regions.
