TRAVEL + LEISURE GOLF NAMES 2008 WORLD’S BEST GOLF RESORTS

Scottsdale, Ariz. – The well-traveled and discerning readers of Travel + Leisure Golf have voiced their opinions on which of the world’s greatest golf resorts they most prefer. The online survey appeared on www.tlgolf.com from April 16 to June 9, 2008. The nominees fell under regional categories: Hawaii; U.S. West & Northwest; U.S. Southwest, U.S. Midwest; U.S. Florida; U.S. Southeast; U.S. Northeast & Mid-Atlantic, Canada; Mexico & Latin America; Bermuda, Bahamas & The Caribbean; Scotland; Ireland & Northern Ireland; England & Wales. The regional categories were divided into two groups based on the type of golf facility most commonly found in the region, specifically golf resorts or golf courses with separate hotels.
