Pavel Pokorný, PGA Teaching Professional at PGA National Czech Republic shares his passion for golf with his family; his wife Kateřina, son Oliver and daughter Evelína. Katerina shared their story with us, about how they find time to enjoy golf as a family and which course they would love to play one day!

How do you create work/life balance between your career in the golf industry and family life?

We try to spend time together on the road when we take the little one to practice during the golf season. On the other hand, during the off-season in the winter months, we regularly travel to Bali where we know some of the golf courses and enjoy time together with the family.

Does your family play golf with you? If so, how often do you guys play?

Although it doesn’t always work out, we try to play together once a week.

If your family plays golf with you, who is the best player in the family?

My husband but our son already started playing and trying to catch up to his father

If you and your family could only use one golf club for a round of golf, what club would it be and why?

Definitely PGA National Czech Republic, where my husband spends a lot of time coaching golfers. The course is always in great condition and of TOP quality, beautiful nature and team of people is why we always like to come back.

What is one golf club on your family’s bucket list to play at that you have not played yet?

We are tempted to visit Dubai where we would like to play the course at Montgomerie Golf Club one day.
