Personal Bests from Golf Course Architects named by LINKS Magazine

LINKS Magazine in their 2020 fall issue released an article titled “Personal Bests” which looks at various golf architects and the courses, in the writer’s opinion, that are their top 3 designs. 1st being called BEST, 2nd called BETTER and 3rd called GOOD. A handful of Troon-managed and affiliated clubs around the United States were represented on this prestigious list of gems constructed by some of the best golf course architects ever!
- Kapalua was selected as Coore & Crenshaw‘s BEST design
- Gamble Sands selected as David McLay Kidd‘s BEST design
- Pronghorn Resort was selected at Jack Nicklaus’ BETTER design
- Cascata and Quintero Golf Club were selected Rees Jones’s BEST and BETTER designs
- Fallen Oak named Tom Fazio’s GOOD design
- Troon North Golf Club’s Monument Course named Tom Weiskopf’s GOOD design
