Moments To Help: Belfair Shares The Light For Healthcare Workers
In our Moments to Help series, we continue to share random acts of kindness throughout the World of Troon
On Friday, April 10th (Good Friday) members of Belfair in Bluffton, South Carolina used candles and lights on their cellphones to “Share the Light” in appreciation for all that healthcare workers are doing in battling COVID-19. The idea of sharing the light is about gratitude for all first responders and anyone who needs to feel the light of love and connectedness during these difficult times. Members placed luminary bags at the end of their driveways and stood outside shining their cell phone to share in the moment. As Belfair General Manager Ken Kosak explained, “We can’t go around hugging each other, but we can show these front line workers how much we appreciate everything they are doing for the community in our way.” Members were encouraged to “share their light” on social media to show that we are all connected, even if we are apart.
