Max Sekulic Wins 2020 Saguaro Amateur
Maricopa, Arizona—Fueled by a final round 6-under par 66, Max Sekulic of Canada, won the 2020 Saguaro Amateur at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in a 1-hole sudden death playoff over Austin Fox of Folsom, CA. Sekulic parred the first hole and won by one shot. The two went head-to-head and held off Carter Graf and Ryan Grider. Both finished at 10-under par 206 for the tournament.
Sekulic, who is transferring from Grand Canyon University to Washington State this spring, also won the Troon Saguaro Amateur Series Player-of-the-Year for his performance in the season-long Troon Saguaro Amateur Series.
