International Team Reap The Rewards

Venues in the international division, including golf clubs and resorts in Europe, the Middle East, and Australia, flourished at the recent 2015 Troon Awards, picking up a whole host of trophies. Hosted by the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa in Chandler, Ariz., the International division traveled from all corners of the globe to the awards ceremony which concluded the 18th Troon Leadership Conference. In the coveted “Troon Ambassador of the Year” category, it was Paul Booth, Director of Club Operations at Abu Dhabi Golf Club, who walked away with the top prize. Selected from amongst Troon’s 10,000 associates, Booth was honored for his passion in providing superior golf experiences, dedication to the role, and championing of the brand in his eight years with the company. Booth was joined in the winner’s circle by Karle Whitehead, Director of golf at The Address Montgomerie Dubai, who was chosen from Troon’s 450-strong PGA Professionals as “Golf Professional of the Year.”
