Golfers, members and associates at 19 Arizona Troon ® golf facilities recently donated $83,000 to Phoenix Children’s Hospital as part of Troon’s “Drive For PCH” promotion. The “Drive for PCH” promotion, now in its sixth year, has raised more than $368,000 for Arizona’s largest children’s hospital. The “Drive for PCH” promotion generated donations from golfers, members and associates through several on-course programs throughout October and November at 19 Arizona Troon golf facilities.

Programs included a “hit the green” par 3 contest that rewarded participants with golf shop discounts and Troon Cards, a Troon helicopter golf ball drop and a PCH golf tournament held at Troon North Golf Club on Friday, November 18th.

“As part of Troon’s partnership with Phoenix Children’s Hospital, we are committed to doing our part to raise money to help fulfill the needs of patients and families served by the hospital,” said John Easterbrook, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Troon. “I am proud of our Troon associates for their tireless fundraising efforts and grateful to the hundreds of golfers who participated in this outstanding promotion.” Golfers playing Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale during October and November raised the most of any Troon-affiliated club with $16,057. Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler golfers raised $13,860, followed closely by Lookout Mountain Golf Club at Pointe Tapatio Cliffs which raised $11,304. In addition, Troon corporate associates in the company’s Scottsdale headquarters raised $6,974 for the “Drive for PCH” promotion.
