About me: I was raised on a ranch in Kalispell, Montana, by a pediatrician and equestrian, with four older brothers and sisters. As a teen, we relocated to Mobile, Alabama, where I met my wife and started work in the restaurant industry. We married while I was in culinary school and we welcomed our only child seven years later. When I am not working, I enjoy playing video games with my daughter, walking our new dachshund puppy, and growing other chefs as an Approved Culinary Evaluator for the American Culinary Federation.

What I’m looking forward to most on the Council: In general, I relish collaborating with other chefs. Particularly, staff morale is very important to me, so I always look forward to sharing leadership ideas to enhance that area of our field.
