Troon Has Big Night At The 2016 Middle East Golf Awards

It was an exciting night for Golf in the MIddle East at the One & Only Royal Mirage as Sport360 in association with the region’s golf bodies and sports councils rewarded golfing excellence in the region.

As a result, it was a big night for Troon as Five properties in the region left with at least one 2016 Middle East Golf Award in wich the reciprients were honored for achievements that have already been accomplished and to encourage continued success.

Abu Dhabi Golf Club was awarded the Best Overall Club Experience as well as the Best Teaching Pro was awarded to the Club’s Danny Jakubowski.

General Manager Thomas Rourke of The Track, Meydan Golf was named Golf Director of the Year and the Collaboration of the Year was awarded to The Track, Meydan Golf and Golf DXB.

The Els Club, Dubai won the award for the Best Food and Beverage Team.

Elliot Gray of Arabian Ranches Golf Club was awarded the General Manager of the Year.


Finally, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club received the award for having the Golf Maintenance Team of the Year.
