Team Troon On Tour: Kuchar with a Top 20 Finish at Colonial
To the World of Troon…
PGA TOUR – Charles Schwab Challenge
The last Texas stop on the PGA Tour schedule was this past week’s Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial. Team Troon had two players in the field in Matt Kuchar and Gary Woodland. Woodland was the talk of the tournament after a second-round 64, vaulting him to page one of the leaderboard (and his lowest round this year following his epic return to professional golf). Matt Kuchar ultimately led Team Troon with a T17 finish at -2.
- T17 Matt Kuchar: 68-69-73-68 = 278 / -2
- T45 Gary Woodland: 72-64-70-76 = 282 / +2
PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS – KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship
The PGA TOUR Champions teed up another major last week at the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship held in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Colin Montgomerie (rocking his all-Troon bag) finished strong with a final-round 69 to push him into T47 for the event. Solid final round and tournament, Colin!
- T43 Colin Montgomerie: 72-71-74-69 = 286 / +2
DP World Tour – Soudal Open
The DP World Tour stopped Antwerp, Belgium last week for the Soudal Open. Alex Fitzpatrick played well all week, earning his fourth top-20 finish of the calendar year at -12, just six shots shy of tournament winner Nacho Elvira.
- T18 Alex Fitzpatrick: 66-68-70-68 = 272 / -12
