PGA TOUR- World Wide Technology Championship

Matt Kuchar was the solo Team Troon representative at the World Wide Technology Championship and WOW did he represent well. Kuchar started off hot and stayed at the top of the leaderboard all week at El Cardonal at Diamante Los Cabos, Mexico. He would ultimately finish -25 and T2. His outstanding performance included a bogey free second and fourth round, as well as going bogey free in his first 39 holes for the tournament. He might have earned the win, if it was not for a “buzz saw” of a final round from Callaway Golf ambassador in Erik Von Rooyen, who shot 28 on his final nine and eagled the last hole for the “walk off” win. Regardless, congrats Kuch on a solid week and great tournament!

  • T2 Matt Kuchar: 65-65-67-66 = 263 / -25

PGA CHAMPIONS TOUR – TimberTech Championship

The Champions Tour wrapped up their final event before the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in sunny Boca Raton, Florida. Team Troon member, Colin Montgomerie would finish the event strong, carding a fantastic 65 in his third and final round. Thanks to this strong finish, Montgomerie has secured his spot in the Charles Schwab Cup finale at Phoenix Country Club in Phoenix, Arizona and is currently ranked #28 in the Charles Schwab Cup points standings. Best of luck to Colin this week in Phoenix!
